Mayfield Primary School Parent Council have been awarded £9,040.00, to reduce the cost for families of their children attending school.

This is a project funded by the Scottish Government and supported by Midlothian Council Communities Team, Mayfield PS Parent Council and Mayfield PS Staff.

The project has worked with Parent Council members, Students and Teachers to examine issues that had an impact on the cost of the school day for families with Primary age children. They came up with ideas for projects aimed at reducing the cost of the school day.

14 Projects have been costed and proposed.

Students, Parents and Teachers will be asked to vote for projects that they wish to be funded,  voting will take place during the week beginning 22 May 2018.

You can vote for the projects you wish to be funded by using stickers (dots) and placing them on the descriptions of the projects.  Please pop into school office anytime this week to cast your votes.  Voting closes Friday 25th May at 12 noon.
