It’s Tuesday ….this means only one thing ….can P5 ‘Rise To The Challenge’?
When we arrived at school today we found this on the board. A HOME TEAM challenge!
What things would we want to have with us? In our group we discussed what would be important to us and as a class we brought together our group ideas and we made a class list of items that we would like to see at auction.

We had £120 to spend at auction. Which HOME TEAM would bid to get the items they needed most.

Each group had a Banker in charge of the money and a Bidder to make their bids.
We used our five times table.
Some groups managed their money well and bought items that would help them to survive while they were stranded on the desert island. Others ran out of money after bidding high on a few items they wanted.
Tomorrow we look forward to writing about our desert island adventures.
I had great fun and enjoyed spending the money. I would like to do more exercises like this.
It fun and next time could we go in 2 groups one sells the stuff and the other sells and then you can switch over I think that would be fun and more than £120 to spend.
I really enjoyed the bidding, I want to go camping now.

I enjoyed it was fun because you can get to put the thing up. I wish we had more money. Maths was amazing i wish we did more half and quarters.
I liked this it was so fun! I would like to do it again with the ten times table and more money to spend!
